Even though I've been using Photoshop for years I only recently learned about the Photomerge feature. Naturally I got a little panorama happy and stitched together pictures from my recent NYC trip. I even pulled out pics from my New Zealand trip that were collecting digital dust waiting for me to someday manually stitch them. Here are my favorite images. They've been compressed quite a bit and there's probably some auto-blur weirdness going on, but zoomed out I'm quite impressed with the results.
Now Photoshop's new content-aware fill feature (see video in previous post) doesn't seem like such a huge technological leap. Here's a nice guide to making your own panoramas in Photoshop.
